Looking for some great burger places near London Bridge?  There are plenty to choose from when you are visting the area.

The London Bridge is one of the most popular tourist attractions in central London. It connects the center of the city with Southwark and is dotted with restaurants, pubs, and historical attractions. It’s a great place to stop off for a burger, so we rounded up some of the best burger places near the London Bridge.

The Best Burger Places Near the London Bridge:

Bermondsey Bar & Kitchen

Find this burger spot nestled into an old underground car park on Bermondsey Street. It’s about a half mile from the southern end of the London Bridge and River Thames. In addition to serving great food, the restaurant hosts live music, pop-ups, and other events throughout the year.

The burgers follow the founder’s vision of utilizing fresh, sustainable, and ethical ingredients. The menu features a variety of in-season produce, and the burgers are fresh and creative as a result. Try the BYC Burger, which is topped with onion cheese, bacon, chipotle mayo, and onion jam.

Bleecker Burger

Fresh is the best way to describe burgers from Bleeker. This London Bridge burger place uses pasture-fed beef sourced entirely from local UK suppliers. The meat comes from small farms and is dry-aged before hitting the bun with a variety of equally fresh toppings.

If you like blue cheese, go for the Blue Burger. The Simplicity Burger is perfect for vegetarians, and everyone else can choose between single or double cheeseburgers with or without bacon. A custom house sauce is used to up the flavour ante on most burgers.

You’ll find this burger joint about a half-mile northwest of the northern edge of the London Bridge and River Thames. It’s part of the Bloomberg Arcade shopping and restaurant strip.  There are also several other locations around the city as well but farther from the London Bridge.

Mac and Wild

This Scottish restaurant is located less than a mile from the northern end of the London Bridge. It doubles as a butcher and offers some of the highest quality meats in the London Bridge area. You can expect that quality and freshness in every bite taken through one of their four London Mac and Wild locations.

The Venimoo is the most well-known burger from Mac and Wild. Caramelized onions, bearnaise, pickles, and cheese top a beef patty and a venison patty. It’s served on a seeded bun unless you order the bunless version, which is served with a side salad. You can also add candied bacon. There are other beef and venison burgers on the menu.

Porky’s BBQ Bankside

Don’t let the name fool you. Porky’s is home to some delicious “dirty burgers” plus custom beer pong tables, which you can use with cider or any other drink that suites your family. The cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburgers are delish, but you may want to try some of the more creative burgers while you’re in town.

The Porky Burger is a base of pulled pork topped with cheese and streaky bacon. If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, go for a juicy burger piled with bacon, guacamole, jalapenos, cheese, and BBQ sauce. The biggest adventure comes with the Jawbreaker, which combines four layers of meat with BBQ sauce plus triple the cheese and bacon.

Look for Porky’s less than one mile southwest of the southern edge of the London Bridge and River Thames. It’s just off Southwark Bridge Road.

Vivat Bacchus

This upscale London restaurant is an attraction for foodies rather than just a place to eat. It’s known for walk-in cheese rooms, live jazz events, and a full stock of South African and French wines. The building has an industrial style that is welcoming whether you stop by for lunch or dinner. It also just happens to house one of the most sophisticated burgers near the London Bridge.

The VB Surrey Hills Beef Burger is made from prime rump of beef and placed on a brioche bun. It’s topped with vine-ripened plum tomatoes, homemade tomato relish, garlic mayo, dill pickles, and mixed leaves. What makes this burger remarkable are the fresh, homemade toppings and the quality beef that sits on the bottom.

You’ll find Vivat Bacchus less than a half mile southeast of the London Bridge on the Southwark side. The Shard is just minutes away, so this is a great place to stop between the two attractions.
